Unlike a four-sided planer that conforms to the timber’s contour, our joiner excels in straightening and squaring the timbers, ensuring they are brought back to a state of alignment and accuracy. Once the timbers undergo this meticulous process on the joiner, they proceed seamlessly to the layout line for the next stages of construction.
Frame layout:
The inception of your Timber Frame commences with a comprehensive collection of detailed shop drawings. We meticulously inscribe the mortise cuts, hole placements, tenon cut lines, and housings, ensuring precision and accuracy in every aspect of the timber frame construction process. With the layout complete we end cut the timbers then apply a beeswax end seal to slow the drying process.
